EG supports using products with Shopify's Selling Plans (Shopify’s term for subscription plans) in the "Automatically Add Products to Cart" and "Give Customers a Choice of Products to Add" actions. This guide will help you configure a rule to use a subscription product within these actions. For help with triggers, please refer to this document.
Configuring the "Automatically Add Products to Cart" Action
To use subscription products with this action, follow these steps:
Choose the products you want the rule to automatically add.
After finalising your selection, click ‘Add’.
If the selected products have an available Selling Plan (subscription plan), another modal titled Payment Plans will appear, asking you to select which Selling Plans you want the rule to automatically add with the product.
Once you’ve selected the desired Selling Plans, click ‘Select Plans’.
Complete the rest of the rule configuration and save.
Configuring the "Give Customers a Choice of Products to Add" Action
To use subscription products with this action, follow these steps:
Choose the products you want to offer your customers to choose from on the pop-up.
If the selected products have an available Selling Plan, another modal will appear asking you to select which Selling Plans you want to make available for selection from a dropdown option on the pop-up.
Once you’ve selected the desired Selling Plans, click ‘Select Plans’.
Complete the rest of the rule configuration and save.
