How to Translate EG Rules

You can translate your EG rules into different languages so customers see them in their preferred language.

Here are the steps to add a new language and translate store-level translations and rule-level translations:

Step 1: Add a New Translation

  1. In your Shopify admin, open the EG app.

  2. Go to the Design & Translations page.

  3. Under Translations, click Add a new translation.

  1. Select the language you want to translate into.

  2. Click Select.

  1. Translate all the store-level text fields shown in the modal into your chosen language.

  1. Click Save.

  2. Repeat this process for each language you want to add.

Step 2: Apply Translations to a Rule

  1. Navigate to the page of the rule you want to translate.

  2. Scroll to the bottom to find the Translations section.

  3. Choose the language you want to translate into.

  4. Fill in the translation fields.

  1. Click Save when finished.

Step 3: Test Your Translations

Visit your online store.

  • Change the language setting on your store.

  • Verify that all the translated text appears correctly.
