How to activate the EG app on your store

What is an App Embed Block?
Put simply it's what allows EasyGift to work on your store. Without activating the app embed block EG cannot run on your store.
Activating EasyGift's App Embed Block
The first step in the installation process of the EasyGift app is to activate the App Embed into your theme. Follow these steps to activate the EG App Embed:

Navigate to Shopify Admin and open your store's current theme

Click on the 'Customize' button

In the menu on the left side click on 'Theme settings'

Then In the Theme settings panel click App embeds

Activate EG by clicking on the switch
If you're using Version 2
There's an extra step for users who are using the unsupported version 2 of EG. You'll need to select Version 2 from the options under the EG App Embed setting.
