What is EG?‍
EG is an app that lets you automatically include products in your customers carts when specific trigger conditions are met.
How do I install it?
You can install it from the Shopify App Store here.
How many rules can I have?
You can have unlimited rules with the Unlimited subscription.
How do I edit or delete a rule?
Click the rule name, and you can edit it. Delete it by clicking the delete button in the bottom left corner.
What is a trigger?
An offer rule will execute if a customer activates a trigger, this can be related to cart value or specific products.
How do I stop a customer removing the reward product?
EG cannot block customers from removing a gift, this is a Shopify rule. Customers must be able to have complete control of their cart.
‍What does the "Rule works in reverse" checkbox do?
This applies if a customer meets the trigger for a rule to be executed (for example, achieving a specific cart value), but then makes a change that makes that condition false (for example, removing an item that brings the cart value below the trigger value). If checked, EasyGift will remove the item from the customer's cart when this happens.
How do I cancel my EG subscription?
You can cancel the plan you are on by heading to the Plans page inside EG and you will find a Cancel card to stop your subscription. This will pause all rules and associated discounts.
